Who we are:

Oilfast is the fastest growing fuel distributor in Scotland. In 12 years, we have grown to a level where we have 10 depots across the UK (mostly in Scotland). We run a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering kerosene, HVO, red & white diesels, lubricants, Licenced AdBlue®, LPG and bunded fuel tanks out of these depots. We deliver to a range of domestic, agricultural, commercial, industrial, and marine customers.

We are a very ambitious company with a great team, full of experience and enthusiasm. We are looking for a like-minded individual for the following role:

Role Summary:

To identify and pursue fuel and ancillary sales opportunities. The location for the role is flexible across Scotland – office-based at one of our depots (Crieff, Forfar, Grangemouth, Oban, Motherwell, Inverness, Insch), home-based or field-based in the geographical area covered by the depot. The role will involve targeting all sectors through cold calling, telesales and communicating via email.

It is not essential for applicants to have fuel industry experience; we are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Key Result Areas:

Ability to self-source prospects, systematically working sectors and geographical areas with the ability to work alone
Identify fuel sales opportunities in the geographical area covered by the depot through cold calling, telemarketing, and email
Confidently interact with all sectors from residential oil users to large PLC’s by pitching the merits of our business
Handle any customer service issues with our customers to resolve them amicably
Provide your Line Manager and the Commercial Director with pipeline and conversion updates on a daily/weekly/monthly basis

This role can be carried out on a full time or part time basis.
