The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Spray & Hand Painter to join our team based in Livingston. This varied role involves preparing and finishing new timber windows and doors in our workshop, along with painting restored sash and case windows both in the workshop and on-site throughout Scotland. You will play an important role in delivering the high-quality finish our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timber surfaces by sanding, filling, repairing, and priming where required.
- Apply high-quality finishes using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Spray paint new timber windows and doors within our dedicated spray booth.
- Carry out painting and finishing work on restored sash and case windows both in the workshop and on-site.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of finish and attention to detail.
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and work areas.
- Work efficiently to production targets while maintaining quality.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and use PPE provided.
- Support general workshop operations and maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a professional painter.
- Experience using spray equipment, brushes, and rollers to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Experience painting timber windows and doors is highly desirable.
- Strong preparation skills and knowledge of finishing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to meet deadlines.

Applicants should be able to reliably commute to Livingston or plan to relocate before starting work.
