Guest Service Assistant - Front Office (Reception) – Join the Hampton by Hilton Corby Team!
Location: Hampton by Hilton Corby, Rockingham Leisure Park, Princewood Road, Corby, NN17 4AP
Shifts: 6:50 AM - 15:10 PM / 14:50 PM - 23:10 PM / 22:50 PM– 7:100 AM | Flexible part-time or full-time hours available
Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent service? We’re on the lookout for a friendly, reliable, and proactive team member on our front desk to be the welcoming face of our hotel during their shift. You’ll be the go-to person, helping to create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Be the first point of contact for guests – from check-ins to late-night requests
- Complete daily reports and also nightly audits when on duty with accuracy and efficiency
- Carry out regular security checks to keep guests and the property safe
- Keep public areas clean, tidy, and ready for the day ahead
- Help with setting up breakfast, assisting the bar, and supporting other departments
- Solve problems independently and ensure guests always feel looked after
- Maintain clear handovers and communication with the day team
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk roles is a bonus – but not essential
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Confident working independently and handling night-time responsibilities if required
- Warm, professional, and guest-focused attitude
- A natural problem solver who stays calm under pressure
- Must be aged 21 or over (due to licensing requirements)
- Willing to undergo a DBS check
