Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber/Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and bathroom fixtures across residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with specifications.
- Tiling would be a strong advantage
- Fit bathrooms by installing baths, sinks, toilets, showers, and associated fittings.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they escalate.
- Measure accurately using basic maths to ensure precise fitting of components.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and fixtures safely to facilitate installation processes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during all aspects of work on-site.
- Assist with the assembly of plumbing components or bathroom furniture as required.
- Drive company vehicles when necessary for transporting materials or equipment.
Skills
- Proven experience in plumbing, with knowledge of pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system repairs.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations during installations.
- Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.
