Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver/Mate to join our skilled team. This role involves assisting qualified electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical solar systems across various projects. Responsibilities
- Assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support electrical tasks.
- Preparing work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment as required.
- Carrying out basic wiring tasks under supervision, including connecting conduits and fixtures.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintaining clean and organised workspaces to promote safety and efficiency.
- Supporting the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing routine inspections.
Skills
- Experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc. is essential.
- Familiarity with power tools used in electrical work, including drills, saws, and testers.
- Prior electrical experience or training is highly desirable; candidates with a strong interest in developing their electrical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure safety standards are maintained at all times.
