Cabinet Maker Job Spec:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our friendly and professional team. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and high-end projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cabinet Maker, your day-to-day duties will include:
· Interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists accurately
· Veneering using various veneer types
· Measuring, cutting, and assembling high-quality furniture
· Working with hardwoods, veneered boards, sheet materials, and solid timbers
· Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
· Finishing items to a high standard, including sanding, fitting hardware, and preparing for finishing or installation
· Assisting with the delivery and installation of fitted furniture on-site when required
· Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
· Supporting the wider team to meet production deadlines
Skills and Experience Required
· Fully qualified cabinet maker or equivalent experience in bespoke furniture making
· Strong practical woodworking skills and attention to detail
· Experience with a range of tools, machinery, and traditional joinery techniques
· Ability to work from technical drawings with minimal supervision
· Good problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
· Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential

40 hours per week – Monday – Thursday 7.00am – 4.00pm, 7.00am – 1.00pm on Friday
