Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
- Manage cash register operations with basic maths skills to handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage multiple orders during peak times by prioritising tasks effectively through good time management skills.
- Engage with customers in a welcoming manner to enhance their overall experience.
Qualifications
- Previous Barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently and safely.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods without compromising service quality.
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
