About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and hands-on Asset Labelling & Branding Technician to join our Asset Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional attention to detail and an interest in live event production to develop their skills within a fast-paced and growing business.
Working closely with the Asset Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our extensive inventory of hire equipment is accurately labelled, branded, tracked, and maintained. Your work will help ensure all assets are correctly identified, recorded, and ready for operational use.
Accuracy is critical in this role. Barcodes, serial numbers, RFID tags, and asset records must be maintained to the highest standard, as they are essential to the efficient operation of the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply barcodes, QR labels, RFID tags, and company branding to new and existing equipment.
- Operate in-house laser engraving equipment to permanently mark assets with identification details.
- Produce barcode, QR, and identification labels using a variety of label printers.
- Verify the accuracy of asset information, serial numbers, and barcode data at every stage.
- Replace damaged, missing, or illegible labels across existing inventory.
- Record and update asset information within the company’s asset management system.
- Support stocktakes, audits, and inventory accuracy checks.
- Maintain organised and well-stocked labelling and branding work areas.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Assist with additional asset-related duties as required by the Asset Manager.

- Must be flexible occasional weekend and additional hours may be required during busy periods.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with barcode, QR code, or RFID labelling systems.
- Experience operating label printers such as Zebra, Brady, Brother, or similar.
- Experience using asset management or rental software (e.g. HireTrack).
- Familiarity with live events, lighting, audio-visual, or production equipment.
- Experience operating laser engraving or marking equipment.
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehousing, or asset management.
