David Burr Estate Agents are seeking a negotiator to join their thriving Bury st Edmunds office on a permanent full-time basis. Experience is not essential although could be regarded as preferable. The chosen candidate will be required to have high standards in both written and verbal communication, be articulate, smartly presented and demonstrate competence and enthusiasm with an overarching emphasis on customer service. Candidates new to estate agency will have the opportunity to learn more about the industry and hone their skills in a number of respects at one of the area’s most active and successful offices dealing in a range of property types with a particular focus on unique and interesting village and country houses.
The candidate will receive ‘on the job’ training from a highly-experienced and well-established team as well as the opportunity to progress to formal qualifications should they wish to in due course. Day to day activities will include liaising with buyers and sellers alike, booking viewings and market appraisals, providing feedback to clients on the sales process, progressing sales already agreed, negotiating offers and managing our portfolio of sales and rental listings. More experienced candidates will have the opportunity to discuss carrying out market appraisals and valuations at the appropriate stage. In addition to the above, all candidates will be expected to assist in the general administrative duties of the branch. A high degree of computer literacy is a pre-requisite.

Salary dependant on experience – OTE £30,000-£60,000
