Job description
Supporting the Agricultural and Milling Team at Crown Farms and Crown Milling who form part of the hugely successful Cranswick PLC. with offices based in Kenninghall and Eye along with farms across Norfolk and Suffolk, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced driven HR Advisor to join our agri focused HR team which forms part of a bigger regional (and national) HR team. We are open to applications from both HR Advisors and Senior HR Advisors for this position.
Job requirements of HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor:
- Generalist HR position supporting our Crown Farms and Crown Milling (approx. headcount of 360).
- Provide HR guidance, support and coaching to our Supervisors and Managers covering all stages of the employee lifecycle, from attraction and recruitment through to development as well as exit.
- Hands on role supporting Managers with range of HR topics, including employee relations (disciplinaries/absence management/grievances), employee engagement and managing performance.
- Reporting HR KPIs, identifying trends and proactively influencing these to improve upon targets (e.g. retention, absence, turnover)
- Drive and be part of people initiatives to improve upon employee engagement and communication
- Support our close knit, hardworking HR team in our aim to attract, engage and progress the best people to support our businesses
What you will need:
- To have previous generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment and enjoy partnering closely with the business to add commercial value
- To ideally be CIPD level 5 qualified (or working towards), min CIPD level 3 qualified
- To be confident in your decision making and have strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- The role will be based between Kenninghall and Eye with occasional travel to our farms based in the surrounding area, therefore a valid driving licence is essential.

- Salary – £35k-£40k (depending on experience and CIPD qualifications)

Hours and location:
Monday to Friday - 8am – 17:00 core working hours with 1-hour lunch break - 40 hours per week
