We are have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Paralegal to join CSG as part of our Motor Injury team.
At CSG, our clients are leading names in the UK insurance industry and our specialist teams deal with all aspects of defendant litigation for both insurers and corporate clients.
Our Motor Injury team deals specifically with motor injury claims of all values and complexities. We have a progressive approach and a market leading reputation for not just simply tackling litigation, but also for tracking and analysing behaviours and trends with a view to providing our clients with bespoke strategies and analysis of changing market behaviours.
You are expected to provide a timely, professional and high-quality service to our clients in the management of claims. Depending on your role, and with the support of a supervisor and/or team manager you will be expected to:
- Be responsible for a varied caseload of litigated or pre-litigated work with an appropriate level of supervision
- Act as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge through attendance at training sessions and reading appropriate publications
- To hit individual financial targets (which are set based upon work type, charging basis and experience)
- Supporting with marketing and business development activity within the team (e.g. attending marketing events, client training, clinics and shadowing days)
You will be an Experienced Paralegal with previous experience or demonstrable interest in Insurance Litigation / Motor Injury you will:
- Have previous Paralegal experience - Motor Injury / Personal Injury / Insurance Litigation is preferred.
- Be IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Able to critically look at factual evidence, identify what is not right/out of the ordinary.
- Be organised and able to handle multiple demands and deadlines simultaneously.
- Able to communicate confidently orally and in writing at all levels.
- Demonstrates alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
