Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support academic staff and enhance the learning experience of students across various disciplines. Responsibilities
- Assist lecturers and tutors in preparing teaching materials and resources for lessons.
- Support students during seminars, tutorials, and laboratory sessions by providing guidance and clarification on coursework.
- Supervise student activities and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Mark assignments, tests, or coursework under supervision, providing constructive feedback where appropriate.
- Support the organisation of academic events, workshops, or extra-curricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress as required.
- Contribute to the development of teaching strategies aimed at improving student engagement and understanding.
Experience
- Recent graduate with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Prior experience working with students or in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an approachable manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and independence.

Pay: £97.68-£120.00 per day
