We are a family-owned holiday park with 40+ years of experience, and are looking for Qualified (NPLQ) Lifeguards to work across our Outdoor and Indoor Pool, providing a Safe Service to our holiday guests.
We are looking for passionate people to help us create unforgettable memories for our guests, while providing a safe environment. Guest safety is a priority to us, so this role requires attention to detail while interacting with our guest to provide excellent customer service.

Current NPLQ Lifeguard Qualification is Essential.
Overview of the role
Our hours are based around 5 days a week during May, July and August, with Saturday & Sunday in June, so you will need some flexibility. But let us know your availability at the application stage and we can have a chat with you about this in more detail. Working across our Outdoor and Indoor pool, you will supervise the Pool areas providing a safe environment for our Guests.
We are also weekly paid.
Person specification:
- A valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering a safe and enjoyable guest experience
Transport will be needed as we are not on a bus route
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the swimming pool areas to ensure guest safety at all times
- Respond quickly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies
- Enforce pool rules and safety procedures in a professional and friendly manner
- Carry out regular safety checks of the pool and equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the pool area
- Assist with pool testing and ensure water quality standards are met
- Provide first aid where required
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist guests with any queries
