LUKE 1977 is a British menswear brand built on quality, innovation, and contemporary design, delivering premium products across apparel and lifestyle categories.
We are looking for a creative, commercially aware, and digitally focused Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, fashion, digital content, and brand storytelling across both DTC and retail environments.
Working closely with the Head of Creative Marketing and wider marketing team, you will help shape and maintain the visual identity of the Luke 1977 brand across all customer touchpoints.
Role Overview
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality creative assets across digital, social, e-commerce, retail, and print platforms.
This role will support the continued growth of the Luke 1977 DTC business, delivering creative content that enhances brand awareness, customer engagement, and online performance.
You will play a key role in developing campaign assets, social content, digital advertising, e-commerce imagery, and retail graphics while ensuring all creative output remains aligned with the brand identity and tone of voice.
This is a head office-based role located at our Marsh Gibbon office.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve the Luke 1977 visual identity across all platforms
- Create engaging digital assets for social media, email marketing, website, and paid advertising campaigns
- Design creative content to support DTC marketing initiatives and e-commerce growth
- Produce impactful digital advertisements and promotional campaign assets
- Design in-store graphics and video, POS materials, packaging, and other print collateral
- Retouch campaign and e-commerce imagery in line with the brand aesthetic and campaign direction
- Support e-commerce creative including image retouching, labelling, resizing, formatting, and asset management
- Assist in developing creative concepts and campaign ideas across digital and retail channels
- Work collaboratively with marketing, e-commerce, and creative teams to deliver cohesive brand campaigns
- Use innovation and creative thinking to reinterpret briefs within commercial and time constraints
- Present creative concepts and final artwork to the wider team
- Ensure all creative work is accurate, on-brand, and delivered to a high standard
- Explore and utilise AI creative tools and platforms to support content creation, workflow efficiencies, ideation, and digital innovation
- Keep up to date with design trends, digital content trends, AI technologies, and evolving consumer behaviours
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Previous experience within a Graphic Design role, preferably within fashion, retail, lifestyle, or e-commerce
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, social, campaign, and brand creative, featuring ROI and briefs behind the work. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the commercial impact of their creative output, including examples such as engagement growth, sales uplift, campaign performance, and how creative solutions delivered against the original brief and business objectives
- Excellent typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills
- Strong understanding of both digital and print design
- Experience creating assets for DTC and e-commerce platforms
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & After Effects
- Strong image retouching and content formatting skills
- Understanding of social media creative and digital marketing content
- Proficiency using AI creative tools and platforms within design workflows, with the ability to utilise AI to support content creation, workflow efficiencies, ideation, and creative innovation
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced environment

- UI/UX experience
- Motion graphics experience
- Experience creating paid social and performance marketing creative
- Knowledge of photography, video editing, or content production
- Understanding of fashion retail and consumer trends

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
