On behalf of Nationwide, AMS are seeking an Administrator for a 3-month contract initially, with the possibility of a rolling extension, working within Mail Processing & Logistics Team at Nationwide House, Swindon.

Job description - the role

What you’ll be doing
As an Administrator in the Mail Processing & Logistics Team, you'll play a vital role in handling incoming applications and correspondence, ensuring accurate processing, and helping route documents to the right business areas. From handwritten letters to formal applications, your attention to detail will help maintain smooth and efficient workflows.

You’ll be responsible for sorting mail, verifying documents, keying in data, and tracking progress across systems. While this is a computer-based role, you'll also be part of a hands-on team environment — moving between tasks, supporting different projects, and staying adaptable to what’s needed day to day.

We’re looking for someone with fresh energy, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude — this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

Key Responsibilities

Mail Handling: Process and sort large volumes of incoming mail (applications, letters, etc.), directing them to the correct teams or business areas.
Data Entry & Tracking: Accurately key in customer and application information and monitor document verification status.
Document Verification: Check customer documents to ensure they meet the necessary standards.
Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks and help across operational projects as needed.
Customer Inquiry Support: Handle customer queries with professionalism, providing clear and timely information.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the Mail Processing & Logistics team, offering flexible support where required.
