We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Project Support Coordinator to play a vital role in the redevelopment of Ipswich Museum, one of the most significant cultural projects currently underway in Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of a much-loved museum that will inspire communities for generations to come.
Working at the heart of the museum team, you will help ensure colleagues are equipped with the information, documentation and coordination support they need to contribute effectively to the redevelopment project and achieve key project milestones.
You will work closely with contractors, consultants and project partners while acting as a central coordination point for museum staff, helping to maintain momentum, track actions and ensure that commitments are delivered on time. You'll support effective information flow across the project, coordinate meetings and documentation, maintain accurate records and help keep multiple workstreams organised and connected.
We're looking for someone with excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills who enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships. You will be confident managing information, coordinating activity and supporting delivery across a varied workload. Experience of project coordination, administration or business support is essential, while an interest in museums, heritage or the cultural sector would be an advantage.
You'll help the Ipswich Museums team stay organised, connected and on track as we work with contractors, designers and partners to deliver the reopening of Ipswich Museum.
