Groundsperson (Part-Time – 20 Hours per Week)

Location: Colets Health Club, Thames Ditton

Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsperson to support the maintenance and upkeep of the outdoor sports facilities at Colets Health Club. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high-quality playing surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine grounds maintenance across all sports areas
Mowing, marking, and general upkeep of pitches including football, cricket, and rugby
Ensuring all playing surfaces are safe, presentable, and fit for use
Basic maintenance of equipment and reporting any faults or issues
Assisting with seasonal pitch preparation and renovation works
General site tidiness, including litter picking and minor repairs
Supporting other facilities maintenance tasks as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role is desirable but not essential
Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use groundskeeping machinery (e.g. mowers, line markers)
Good physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours:

20 hours per week (flexible schedule, may include some weekends depending on pitch usage)
