We are a growing footwear wholesale and distribution business looking for a reliable and detail-focused Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, accurate, and comfortable working across day-to-day finance administration. The position can be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the right candidate’s availability and experience.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include:
- Purchase ledger processing
- Sales ledger support
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Credit control support
- Processing payments
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Assisting with month-end reporting
- General bookkeeping and finance administration
- Supporting the wider office team when required
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous bookkeeping, accounts assistant, or finance administration experience
- Is accurate, organised, and methodical
- Has good attention to detail
- Is confident using accounting software and Excel
- Can work independently and as part of a small team
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is trustworthy and discreet with financial information
Experience with Xero would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person.
