Are you an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for education? Join us at Bitterne Park School as a Study / Cover Supervisor and play a vital role in supporting students' learning and academic progress in our dynamic school environment!

As a Study / Cover Supervisor, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide supervision and support for students during lessons when teachers are absent. Your role will include:

Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials to students, ensuring they remain on task and complete their work to the best of their ability.
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, managing student behavior and promoting a love of learning.
Providing extra assistance to students who may need additional support or explanation of the tasks.
Monitoring the completion of assignments and providing feedback to teaching staff.
Managing classroom resources and ensuring a safe and tidy learning environment.
Supporting the school's values and ethos, nurturing students' personal and social development.

The successful candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to engage and motivate students. You will be highly organised, adaptable, and flexible, able to effectively manage a classroom and respond to different learning needs.

Requirements:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.
Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
A genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development.

Grade 6: £28,792 - £31,022 (Full time salary)

Hours: 5 days/32.5 hours per week/term time only.
