At No Limits, it is important our staff and volunteers reflect, represent and have experience of the challenges faced by the children and young people we support. We are proud and appreciate our many staff and volunteers who use their own lived experience to support the children and young people they work with.
With this in mind, we are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our work and organisational culture – and when recruiting, it’s important to us that we continue diversifying our staff and volunteer teams, with children and young people at the centre of everything we do.
When we talk about talent, we value the transferrable skills and experiences you can bring to No Limits, which can be through work (in the same or a different sector), volunteering or personal experiences. To make sure we get the best talent on our team, we are open to and actively encourage applications from all backgrounds and sections of the community, including diverse ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, disabled and neurodiverse.
If invited to interview, please let us know if we can support you at interview with any reasonable adjustments, such as flexible working, access arrangements or a suitable place to pray.
Your role
As Impact & Evaluation Project Manager, you will lead the first phase of No Limits’ wider impact, evaluation and insight programme.
This is an initial 12-month fixed-term project role focused on helping us make sure we are measuring the right things, in the right way, and using outcomes to better understand and articulate the difference we make to children and young people. There may be scope for the role to develop or extend beyond the initial period, depending on organisational need, funding and the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
Working across service delivery, fundraising and data, and alongside our external evaluation partner CORC, you will help turn this work into a practical outcomes framework, Theory of Change and set of service logic models that can be used across No Limits.
You will help managers better understand the outcomes their services contribute to, how these link to No Limits’ wider impact, and how they should be captured through our systems and day-to-day practice.
You will also help us develop a clearer and more consistent approach to outcomes, including how new services connect to the wider No Limits picture. This includes identifying high-level organisational outcomes, strengthening how we collect evidence through our data recording, and helping us demonstrate the wider social and economic benefit of our work.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating the 12-month impact and evaluation project.
- Working alongside CORC and internal colleagues to develop No Limits’ Theory of Change and outcomes framework.
- Supporting managers and service teams to review and strengthen service logic models.
- Reviewing whether a consistent organisation-wide outcome measure, or small suite of measures, would help us demonstrate impact across our services.
- Working with the Data team to ensure Dynamics captures the right outcome measures, evidence and reporting requirements.
- Developing practical tools, guidance and training to help managers and staff use outcomes confidently and consistently.
- Leading or supporting evaluation activity for a small number of priority projects or service areas.
- Helping establish how No Limits can better evidence social value, economic benefit and wider impact.
- Producing clear findings, recommendations, summaries and briefings to support learning, reporting and future insight work.
Please see the job description on our website for more information.
We are committed to making a difference in the lives of the children and young people we work with, and as such, you must show a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours which flow from the No Limits ethos. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is paramount.
We particularly welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and those who have had experiences similar to the young people we aim to support. We are committed to creating a diverse environment where people can be their authentic selves, where their experiences and opinions are valued, and we are all open to learning from each other.
As part of our team, you’ll receive a comprehensive induction and access to learning and development opportunities relevant to your role, supporting your ongoing growth.
You'll have the essentials of:
- Experience in outcomes, impact, evaluation, service improvement or organisational change work, ideally in a charity, public sector or similar setting.
- The ability to work with managers and services to understand what they do, identify meaningful outcomes, and turn this into practical tools and approaches.
- Confidence working with qualitative and quantitative information to identify learning, impact, gaps or opportunities.
- Strong project coordination and communication skills, including the ability to explain outcomes and impact clearly to non-specialists.
- A thoughtful and ethical approach to gathering and using evidence from children, young people or communities.
Please let us know if we can support you with any reasonable adjustments at any point prior to, during or after the selection process, such as access arrangements, flexible working, or a suitable place to pray.
Interested..? We'd love to hear from you!
We’d be happy to have an informal discussion and answer any immediate questions you might have. If you’d like an initial discussion, please email Anthony Douglas, Director of Central Services on [email protected]
To apply, please complete an application form from our website and upload using the portal on the website, before the closing date of 9am, Monday 3rd August 2026, with a provisional Interview date of Tuesday 11th August.
