Job description
Movement Matters Physiotherapy is looking for a passionate, ambitious HCPC-registered Physiotherapist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a progressive private practice that combines expert musculoskeletal physiotherapy, gym-based rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and objective movement testing using industry-leading technology. We are seeking a clinician with proven experience in musculoskeletal assessment, treatment, exercise prescription and gym-based rehabilitation, as well as proven experience using objective testing technology within an MSK healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and continually developing their clinical expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Candidates Must Have:
- Registration with HCPC and full CSP membership
- Proven Experience in the areas detailed in the JD
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Clear DBS Check
- Satisfactory References
This Role:
Location: Hadleigh, Essex
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time 36 hours per week.
Salary band: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Minimal Insurance Work: As a clinic we are primarily self-funding with very minimal insurance work.
Excellent Facilities: Fully equipped rehabilitation gym with great testing and training facilities.

What will be expected
The successful candidate will be a key member of the team and responsible for delivering a first class evidenced based service to our patients on a day-to-day basis.
You will be expected to:
- Carry out initial assessments and treatment for those with neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.
- Clinically reason to identify injury causation and prescribe tailored individualised management plans
- Promote long term movement health, providing a proactive and preventative approach to injury, health and well-being
- Utilise various treatment modalities including manual therapy techniques, sports massage and prescriptive exercises.
- Perform and interpret objective testing on human movement, strength & power using technology such as force decks, force frame and strength dynamometry to accurately measure, monitor and improve physical performance and rehabilitation.
- Market services through various channels, such as social media, networking, and community outreach, to grow and maintain a patient base.
- Maintain diary utilisation and clinical caseload.
