Riverside Training (Spalding) Ltd (RTS) is an Ofsted-regulated independent training provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality apprenticeship programmes and professional development.
Following continued growth and success, we are launching a brand-new Digital & Data division and are looking for an ambitious individual to lead it from the ground up.
This is not a standard trainer role.
We are seeking someone who wants the opportunity to build, shape and grow an entire provision, taking ownership of curriculum design, programme delivery, learner success and future expansion.

The Opportunity
As our Digital & Data Apprenticeship Programme Lead, you will become the driving force behind our new digital provision.
Initially focusing on the Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship, you will be responsible for developing the curriculum, creating learning resources, onboarding learners, delivering training and supporting employers.
You will have the freedom to shape the programme, influence future curriculum decisions and play a key role in expanding RTS into new sectors and markets.

What You'll Be DoingCurriculum Development
- Design and develop a fully compliant Level 3 Data Technician curriculum.
- Map learning content to apprenticeship standards and KSBs.
- Create schemes of work, lesson plans and learning materials.
- Develop workplace projects and assessment activities.
- Ensure curriculum content remains current and industry relevant.
Programme Leadership
- Lead the launch and development of the Digital & Data provision.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert.
- Support future apprenticeship expansion opportunities.
- Contribute to strategic planning and growth.
Teaching & Coaching
- Deliver engaging live online workshops via Microsoft Teams.
- Provide one-to-one learner support and coaching.
- Monitor learner progress and achievement.
- Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment.
- Conduct progress reviews with learners and employers.
Employer Engagement
- Build strong employer relationships.
- Support workforce development discussions.
- Ensure employers understand apprenticeship requirements.
- Participate in employer reviews and planning meetings.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain learner records and evidence.
- Support quality assurance activities.
- Ensure compliance with apprenticeship funding requirements.
- Drive high levels of learner achievement and satisfaction.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Experience working within Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data management, reporting and analysis.
- Experience using tools such as:
- Microsoft Excel
- Power BI
- SQL
- Databases
- Reporting and visualisation tools
- Experience delivering training, coaching or mentoring.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a programme.
- Passion for developing future talent.
Desirable
- Apprenticeship delivery experience.
- Teaching or training qualification (AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent).
- Assessor and/or IQA qualification.
- Curriculum design experience.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules and compliance requirements.
- Experience preparing learners for End Point Assessment.
