Full job description

We are looking for a professional, approachable, and proactive Park Security Officer to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for visitors, staff, and the wider community.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, engaging with the public, and taking a visible role in supporting community safety.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-visibility patrols throughout the park and surrounding areas
Respond promptly and effectively to incidents of anti-social behaviour
Engage positively with park users, local residents, and community groups
Provide reassurance and assistance to members of the public
Monitor and report suspicious activity, damage, or safety concerns
Support the enforcement of park rules and local regulations
Liaise with emergency services and partner agencies when required
Complete accurate incident reports and maintain detailed records

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Calm and confident approach in challenging situations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities
Previous security, enforcement, or community safety experience is desirable
Valid SIA licence

About the Role

As a Park Security Officer, you will play an important role in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who uses the park. Please note, this is a part time role at the moment.
