This vacancy is only available to recent Loughborough University graduates who have completed an undergraduate programme within the last two years, or a current undergraduate student looking to undertake a placement year.
This is a full time, fixed term role for 12 months.
The School and College Liaison team are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic Loughborough University graduate or placement student to represent the University at events in schools and colleges across the country.
The Student Recruitment Intern will play a key role in raising awareness of Loughborough University in the external marketplace and will work with a wide range of potential students, including disadvantaged and widening participation students.
Applicants will need to be highly organised, have a keen desire to learn and have a natural ability to connect with people at all levels.
This post will involve some out of office hours work, e.g. weekends and evenings, and the postholder will be required to travel across the UK.

About the Department
Marketing and Advancement is an award-winning team spanning marketing, communications, web and digital, student recruitment, outreach, market research, international recruitment, creative services and print, and philanthropy and alumni relations.
About You
- Confident and engaging communicator, comfortable speaking with prospective students, teachers and parents in a range of settings
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and plan effectively for events and activities
- Positive and proactive, with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and contributing to team projects
- Approachable and supportive, able to build strong connections with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to travel and support events outside of standard working hours
- Full UK Driving License required for the role
