Three week rolling rota pattern - one day on two days off
8am start until 8.15am. This includes 8 hours sleepover.
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager for our new service, Manse House.

We're recruiting an Assistant Manager to join Manse House, our new specialist residential service in the Bearsden area.
Building on the outstanding therapeutic work already delivered at Lochend, Manse House has been developed to provide highly specialised care for children and young people with complex needs, including significant trauma, autism, learning disabilities and other additional support needs. Some young people may also present behaviours that challenge, including physical aggression.
This is more than managing a team. It's about leading a therapeutic culture where children feel safe, colleagues feel supported, and every decision is guided by the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to build a better tomorrow.

We're looking for someone who:
- Has substantial experience within residential childcare, with previous leadership or senior practitioner experience.
- Has experience supporting children and young people with complex trauma, autism, learning disabilities and additional support needs.
- Leads with empathy, resilience and professionalism.
- Can remain calm under pressure and confidently support others through challenging situations.
- Champions trauma-informed and relationship-based practice.
- Is committed to developing, motivating and empowering others.
- Has excellent communication, organisational and recording skills.
- Holds a full manual driving licence (essential).
Your role will include:
- Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of Manse House.
- Promoting the protection, safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people at all times.
- Leading by example to ensure therapeutic, trauma-informed practice is embedded throughout the service.
- Working in line with Imagine Care's values of Partnership, Progress and Professionalism.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people while acting as a consistent and therapeutic role model.
- Leading on the assessment of children's risks and needs through the development, implementation and review of care plans and risk management plans.
- Promoting positive outcomes across education, health, recreation, independence and preparation for adulthood.
- Supporting children and young people to engage with education and working collaboratively with schools and education professionals.
- Leading the implementation and effective use of the organisation's Outcomes Tracker and online care management systems.
- Ensuring accurate, reflective and high-quality recording in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Managing, supervising and mentoring the Therapeutic Support Practitioner team, identifying development needs through regular supervision, appraisal and reflective practice.
- Leading team meetings and contributing to a positive, open and participative culture.
- Supporting the recruitment, induction and retention of staff to build a safe, nurturing and high-performing team.
- Promoting, monitoring and maintaining health and safety for children, colleagues and visitors in accordance with legislation, policy and best practice.
- Supporting the prevention and therapeutic management of behaviours that challenge through the effective application of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).
- Participating in the on-call rota, providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues outside normal working hours.
- Contributing to the effective management of budgets and resources to ensure high-quality, sustainable service delivery.
- Developing productive relationships with families, professionals, partner agencies and the wider community.
- Supporting the Registered Manager in driving continuous improvement, service development and regulatory compliance.
- Taking responsibility for implementing systems and practices that promote high-quality care, safeguard children and meet legislative, regulatory and organisational standards.
- Undertaking additional responsibilities appropriate to the role and the continued development of the service.
