Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Artisan Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, committed and inspired in the artisan methods of producing delicious baked goods. They should have a strong background in production and preparation, with a focus on creating high-quality viennoiseries in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As an baker, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional culinary creations using local quality ingredients where possible while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake variety of viennoiseries according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in recipe planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new pastries.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Collaborate with other kitchen and front of house staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Preferable Skills

Experience in lamination bread making .
Creativity and passion for baking, with a good general understanding of vienoisserie production and willingness to learn new techniques.
Level 2 Hygiene Cerificate Desirable.
Ability to multitask is essential.
Capable of working efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Pay

We give quarterly appraisals and have a clear structure that has pay increases and bonus increases. We also have a % share at the top level. After your probation you will also be entitled to a free monthly massage.
