The Resident Wellbeing Coordinator plays a key role in bringing these values to life by creating meaningful opportunities that enrich residents' lives and promote wellbeing and connection. Working closely with residents, families and colleagues, they will develop engaging experiences that celebrate individuality and foster a strong sense of belonging.
Through a compassionate and person-centred approach, the Resident Wellbeing Coordinator will help create a welcoming community where exceptional care is complemented by outstanding resident experiences. They will support residents to remain connected to the people, interests and activities that matter most to them.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a varied programme of activities, events and experiences that support residents' physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents to understand their interests, preferences, hobbies and personal histories.
- Ensure activities are person-centred and tailored to individual abilities, needs and aspirations.
- Encourage participation while respecting personal choice and independence.
- Support residents to maintain community connections, interests and relationships.
- Create memorable moments and exceptional experiences that enhance daily life.
- Organise themed events, celebrations, outings, entertainment and intergenerational activities.
- Support the delivery of hospitality-focused experiences that reflect the home's luxury standards.
- Promote a warm, engaging and inclusive atmosphere throughout the home.
- Work closely with care colleagues to ensure activities and wellbeing initiatives align with residents' care plans and changing needs.
- Build positive relationships with residents' families and loved ones.
- Encourage family involvement in events and activities where appropriate.
- Act as an ambassador for the home within the local community.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Support safeguarding responsibilities and promote resident wellbeing at all times.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful and supportive team culture.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Essential
- Experience delivering activities, wellbeing programmes or resident engagement initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
- Compassionate, caring and resident-focused approach.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- We require a valid driving license and due to the company insurance, applicants must be aged 25 and over
Desirable
- Experience within a care home, healthcare, hospitality or luxury service environment.
- Understanding of person-centred care principles.
- Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia.
Pay: £13.28 per hour
