*£14.36 per hour + Weekly TRONC (£200–£250 per week)
*Full Time | 30–40 Hours Per Week

Buck’s Bar St Andrews, are looking for a strong Sous Chef / Kitchen Assistant Manager to join the opening team at our newest venue.

This role is ideal for an experienced kitchen professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is ready to take the next step within a growing independent hospitality company.

The Role

Working closely with the Kitchen Manager and General Manager, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen while maintaining high food, hygiene, and service standards.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting daily kitchen operations
Food preparation and light cooking duties
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
Assisting with kitchen porter duties where required
Supporting and motivating the kitchen team during busy services
Ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
Assisting with takeaway and delivery operations

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor
Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example
Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
Takeaway or high-volume experience is beneficial
Reliable, organised, and team-focused attitude
