Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to create memorable experiences for our guests while showcasing your expertise in drink preparation and service. Previous restaurant experience and a strong understanding of food safety are highly desirable. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders promptly and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety regulations.
Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service.
Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system efficiently.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety standards at all times.
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to bar operations.
Excellent serving skills coupled with strong time management abilities.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy during shifts.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a lively setting.
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.
Must be aged 18 or over to serve alcohol legally. This role provides an engaging environment where you can develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We value professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.

Pay: £13.28 per hour
