Full job description

As Business Development Manager you will play a key role in delivering the sales strategy set by the Head of Commercial and Executive Team across all areas of the business.

Proactively driving revenue opportunities across the estate, developing new relationships, growing existing accounts and identifying opportunities to increase hotel market share, profitability and commercial performance.

Leading the reservations and events teams, you will drive the sales opportunities, manage a sales funnel and convert opportunities whilst also engaging with the marketplace, building market presence and leveraging regional sustainable networks.

Supporting the Head of Commercial, this role will aim to grow revenues through relevant third parties and direct channels including but not limited to corporate membership, corporate golf days, conferences, private dining, bedrooms, leisure, spa & events business.

You will build strong relationships with local, regional, national and international stakeholders’ groups and create a visible and approachable face of Carnoustie Golf Links and Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa.

Working within the parameters set by the senior leadership team you will support the delivery of the strategy for the next phase of our development.

This is a highly visible, relationship-focused role requiring an energetic, commercially minded individual who thrives on building partnerships, creating opportunities and delivering results.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
