Steel Fabrication company based in Kirkcaldy Fife. We are ideally based to serve the Central Belt of Scotland and beyond.
We currently operate from a workshop, complete with a 5t overhead crane and large storage yard.
Key Accountabilities (major end results the job is expected to achieve):
· Follow verbal and written instructions.
· Always adhere to company safe working practices.
· Work as part of a team and unsupervised in a safe and trustworthy manner.
· Operate machinery and plant, including hand tools, power tools and forklift truck.
· Read and understand drawings.
· Fabricate and weld to a high standard of quality in a timely manner.
· Maintain and expand your knowledge of fabrication and welding.
· Follow company weld procedures and achieve relevant welder qualifications.
· Be able to solve problems with limited or no input from your line manager.
· Plan work effectively.
· You will be expected to attend sites to assist in installations.
· Ensure agreed Site-Specific RAMS issued to employees are adhered to.
· Applicants require a clean driving licence and hold a relevant CSCS card.
· Ensure all works are checked ongoing and on completion.
· Ensure tidy workshop and in conjunction with Line Manager, keep yard organised and tidy.
· Overtime available as and when required.
