Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation to contribute to a professional environment. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of hotel rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and paper goods as needed
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow organisational procedures for waste disposal and recycling programmes
Assist with organising storage areas and ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical fitness to perform cleaning duties effectively
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
A positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
