Full job description

Just Learn are looking for a Specialist ASD Tutor to tutor a Yr 11 learner in the SE4 2AX area. The learner will require one hour of Maths tuition and one hour of English tuition per week

Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring session to the student in Maths and English .
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the individual need of the student.
- Assess student's learning needs and create personalized learning goals.
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students and their families.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Knowledge of various teaching techniques and strategies for different learning styles.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting and maintain discipline.
- Proficient in using educational technology tools for instruction.

- Must have previous ASD experience

Preferred Qualifications:

The tutor must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update System or be willing to pay towards the cost of one.
