Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented 3PL Operations Coordinator to oversee and optimise third-party logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, coordinating transportation, and ensuring seamless supply chain processes. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, picking, and packing to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as AS400 to track inventory levels, order processing, and logistics data.
- Oversee category management to optimise product placement and stock levels across multiple warehouses.
- Collaborate with transportation providers using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to schedule deliveries and pickups efficiently.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Analyse logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimisation through data analysis skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during materials handling activities, including forklift operations where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and related documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party providers to coordinate shipping & receiving activities within the supply chain framework.
- Support warehouse staff in daily operations including materials handling and picking & packing tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of category management, process improvement methodologies, and logistics best practices.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Familiarity with 3PL operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling equipment including forklift operation (certification preferred).
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data to inform decision-making.
- Prior experience working within a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good communication skills to collaborate across teams and external partners effectively.

Pay: £24,420.00-£28,500.00 per year
