Stamford College is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Lecturer in Sport & Public Services to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator, sports coach, football development professional, or industry specialist who wants to develop the next generation of sports professionals.

We are particularly interested in candidates with football coaching experience and would welcome applications from individuals who have worked within women's and girls' football programmes, clubs, academies, community projects or talent pathways.

About the Role

You'll deliver engaging teaching across our Sport and Public Services programmes while helping students develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress into higher education, employment and careers within the sports industry.

Alongside classroom delivery, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to practical coaching sessions, support enrichment activities and help shape exciting opportunities for students with an interest in football and sports development.

What You'll Bring as a Sports Lecturer

We're looking for someone who can:

Inspire and motivate young people to achieve their potential
Bring current industry knowledge and real-world experience into the classroom
Deliver engaging and innovative teaching and learning
Support students both academically and personally
Build strong links with sports organisations and industry partners
Contribute to the growth of football and sporting opportunities across the College

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:

Experience working within sport, coaching or public services
Football coaching qualifications and practical coaching experience
Experience coaching within women's or girls' football (desirable)
A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
A passion for developing young people and helping them succeed
