Overview
Hill View Electrical has now expanded into Hill View Renewables and are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems in a domestic and commercial environment. We specialise in solar PV, electric storage systems and EV chargers. Experience in these areas will be an advantage but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
Successful candidate will receive a company van and fuel card.
Financial incentives will also be offered and can be discussed at interview.
We are also considering sub-contractors at this time.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
Requirements
- JIB gold card.
- 2391 or equivalent preferred but not essential.
- Experience in solar PV is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are essential.
