Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced groundworker with experience in the civil engineering sector, drainage, concrete slabbing, large concrete foundations etc. A 360 excavator operator / dumper ticket, would be an advantage. We work nationwide so willingness to work away from home with lodge and lodging allowance paid. Full uk driving licence essential. Living local to the Rotherham/sheffield/Doncaster area is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operating as part of a 2 or 3 gang team capable of reading site drawings and following instruction from managers / clients.
Ensuring you can work as a team member, works to a good standard following and adhering to safe practises of work, method statements, risk assessments, and CDM Regulations.
Ensuring jobs run on time and are completed to an excellent standard.

Skills

Excellent time-management abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with supervision whilst also being a team player.
Ability to read site drawings and follow method statements.
Understanding and following CDM regulations and risk assessments.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to learn new skills.
Previous experience in this type of work is essential.
CSCS /CPCS plant operator/ other plant tickets/ SSSTS / first aid etc is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
