About Us: At Network Squad Ltd, we specialize in delivering reliable IT support, seamless IT infrastructure installations, and cutting-edge CCTV setups. Our dedicated team is committed to providing businesses with top-tier solutions that enhance efficiency, security, and growth.

Job Description: We are looking for an Installation Engineer to support the delivery of regular infrastructure projects — fiber and copper cabling, CCTV installation, access point deployment, and cable pulling across commercial environments. Good to have their own van & tools (hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments).

Key Responsibilities:

Install and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a) across commercial sites
Pull and route cable via ceilings, under-floor risers, and across-floor ducting
Install and commission CCTV systems (camera placement, NVR setup, cable runs)
Install and configure wireless access points, including working at height
Patch panel termination and infrastructure cabinet builds
Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues on-site
Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand site requirements
Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building regulations
Conduct pre-installation site surveys and post-installation testing
Maintain and organise tools, materials, and vehicle stock
Document installations, test results, and as-built records
Provide technical support and advice to clients and colleagues

Qualifications:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
IT-related certifications (preferred)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Full UK driving licence
