Interim Financial Modeller - South Birmingham

The rewards

£400–£500 per day (outside IR35)
6–12 month contract
Hybrid working (4 days on-site)

Hours

Hybrid working — 4 days on-site in South Birmingham

The role of Interim Financial Modeller:

Building and enhancing sophisticated financial models to support business planning and decision-making
Developing detailed cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning tools
Creating dynamic scenario and sensitivity analysis models
Supporting covenant monitoring and forecasting
Modelling the financial impact of commercial, operational and strategic scenarios
Working with senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve forecasting accuracy
Translating large volumes of financial and operational data into meaningful insights
Providing recommendations and analysis to support future growth and investment decisions
Reviewing existing forecasting processes and identifying opportunities for improvement

The ideal Interim Financial Modeller:

Proven experience delivering complex financial modelling projects
Advanced Excel modelling skills
Strong FP&A, commercial finance or financial modelling experience
Experience developing cash flow forecasts and scenario planning models
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and quickly understand complex business drivers
Hands-on approach with a focus on delivering practical, value-adding outputs
Experience within automotive, retail, distribution or multi-site businesses (advantageous)

This is a key project-focused assignment working closely with the senior leadership team of a highly successful and growing business in South Birmingham.
