Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Transport / Office Administration Assistant to support our logistics and administrative operations. This role involves coordinating transportation activities, assisting with data entry, and providing exceptional organisational support within a dynamic busy environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth communication between departments and external partners, and drivers, contributing to the efficiency of our logistics processes. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills within transportation management systems.

Duties

Assist with shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, Customers, and Depots via phone and email, maintaining professional phone etiquette.
Input data accurately into various systems.
Organise transportation routes and schedules to optimise efficiency while adhering to deadlines.
Support office administration tasks such as filing, document management, and general clerical duties.

Skills

Strong understanding of logistics operations, including shipping & receiving procedures would be desirable.
Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners clearly and professionally.
Competent data entry skills with high accuracy.
Good organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to demonstrate good phone etiquette when liaising with clients or Depots. This role is ideal for organised individuals eager to develop their expertise in logistics administration within a supportive team environment.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
