About Isca Decorating Company

We are a professional Exeter-based decorating contractor specialising in high-quality commercial projects across Devon. Our work includes offices, educational facilities, healthcare environments, and retail premises. We are known for our reliability, high standards, and strong on-site reputation.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and skilled Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team. The role will involve carrying out a variety of maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and finishing works on commercial projects, supporting our decorating teams and delivering high-quality results for our clients.

Responsibilities

Carrying out a range of multi-trade works, including basic carpentry, patch plastering, and general repairs
Installing and repairing fixtures, fittings, and ironmongery
Making good surfaces and completing finishing works prior to decoration
Assisting with refurbishment and planned maintenance projects
Working efficiently and safely on active commercial sites
Maintaining clean and organised working areas
Representing the company professionally on-site

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a multi-skilled or multi-trade role
Experience using Repair Care wood repair systems
Competence across a range of trades, particularly carpentry and general building maintenance
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good attitude and reliability (non-negotiable)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence preferred
CSCS card preferred
