We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, punctual motivated person with a passion for food to join our bistro team!
You need to be a confident cook, or someone with some kitchen experience, to help us produce a range of hot and cold food including breakfasts, panini, burgers, handmade pizzas, crepes, jacket potatoes and sandwiches and more...
We make our burgers, fillings, quiche and more ourselves, so you will require the ability to follow recipes and instruction.
Training will be provided but some kitchen experience Is preferable.
Level 2 minimum food hygiene certificate required or a willingness to put yourself through level 2 minimum required upon hire, alongside your allergens awareness course.
However a basic understanding of allergens and basic food hygiene will be needed before you are considered for the role.
Hours as follows:
Monday: 9am - 3pm
Tuesday: 10am - 3pm
Thursday: 10am - 3pm
Friday: 10am - 3pm
And Saturdays: 9am - 4pm
Additional hours required when business need requires.
(EG: Holiday and sickness leave)
(Hours are non-negotional)
29 hours per week.

Your job role will be:
- To cook and prepare meals to a high standard and presentation.
- Assist with food preperation, food service, ordering of and organisation of stock and cleaning of the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment.
- Ensuring all kitchen equipment of functioning as should be and reporting any issues immediately to the head chef.
- Open and closure checks.
You will work alongside the Head Chef, Sous Chef and will be part of a 2 person team per shift.
You will be trained fully in all kitchen aspects.
You Must be able to retain information well and be willing to learn.
Must be able to take and follow instruction well And ensure standards stay consistent.
Be able to multi-task and work well under pressure (we get extremely busy!) Work quickly and efficiently.
Be able to Work well and communicate efficiently as a team and importantly Take pride in the food you cook and present.
You must be a well presented individual with high levels of hygiene.
A keen eye for presentation and attention to detail.
