We are recruiting for a Assistant Finance Manager who share s our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Assistant Finance Manager to join our Management Accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part‑qualified accountant or experienced finance professional looking to progress within a large and dynamic acute NHS Trust.

Our Finance Team is proud to have achieved Level 2 accreditation under the One NHS Finance Towards Excellence framework and is working towards Level 3. This reflects our commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, staff development and delivering real value to services and patient care.

This role offers the chance to develop strong business partnering skills, gain exposure to senior stakeholders and contribute to financial sustainability and service improvement across the Trust.

To provide accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting and planning. To meet regularly with budget holders to provide advice on all aspects of financial control.

The postholder will be required to organise personal workloads to meet all relevant financial timetables in the delivery of the financial reporting/management remit as set by the Senior Finance Manager.

The post holder is required to work a significant proportion of their time (more than 80%) using computer applications. The computer applications used include the software packages Excel, Word, Oracle, Business Intelligence, Power BI and our Trust payroll system ESR
