About the job:

We are looking for a Web Designer for our corporate division. If you are passionate about creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites that captivate and engage visitors, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Hexagon. In this role, you will focus on crafting exceptional web experiences, ensuring our online presence aligns with Capgemini's brand and strategic goals. Join us in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the evolution of our digital landscape.

Tasks in detail:

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand website objectives, target audience, and business requirements.

Conceptualise and create visually appealing and intuitive website designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Develop responsive web designs that work seamlessly across various devices and browsers.

Maintain and enhance the overall look and feel of Interpham Consulting’s online presence, ensuring brand consistency.

Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to convey design concepts and gather feedback.

Stay updated on web design trends and best practices to continually improve the quality of our web assets.

Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of web designs.

Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to make data-driven design decisions.

Monitor website performance and user engagement, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Work with content creators and marketing teams to optimise web content for user engagement and SEO.

Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders for review and approval.

Requirements:

Hard Skills

Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field (or equivalent experience).

6-10 years of experience in web design, with a strong portfolio of web projects

Proficiency in design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite etc.)

Strong proficiency in web design principles, user interface (UI) design, and user experience (UX) design

Demonstrated experience in creating user-friendly and responsive web designs

Understanding of HTML/CSS and web design best practices.

Knowledge of WCAG and accessibility principles

Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)

Familiarity with web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics)

Understanding of SEO basics

Ability to implement animations and micro-interactions

Familiarity with corporate and B2B web design (plus)

Soft Skills

Ability to communicate design concepts and rationales clearly.

Proven ability to solve design-related problems with attention to detail.

Capacity to independently think and analyse design challenges.

Experience in quickly adapting to new tools and industry trends.

Proven track record of collaborating with team members across various roles.

Ability to adjust design strategies based on evolving project requirements.

Strong organizational skills with a focus on efficient time management

Experience in proactive teamwork and commitment to delivering quality results.
