Charge Nurse

Located in Ayr, Greenan Manor is a 52-bed private luxury care home, combines elegant surroundings with high-quality care services, bringing warmth and comfort to residents. Meallmore, Scotland’s most trusted care provider, is committed to delivering excellent care in great places to live and work. Join us in creating a caring, vibrant environment that truly feels like home.

Hours: 40.25 hours per week – working on a 2-week rolling rota of 3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next

Salary: £22.97 per hour + competitive benefits

We are looking for a compassionate and confident professional with proven experience working within a care home setting. The ideal will demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, enabling them to support, guide, and inspire the team. You will be warmly welcomed into our team and empowered to deliver clinical leadership and oversight across the home. In this pivotal role you will coordinate and deliver the clinical aspects of an evidence based, personalised approach to care, whilst maintaining our values driven approach.

Skills and requirements:

Relevant nursing qualification (RGN, RMN or RLDN)
Care Home experience is essential
Current registration with the NMC
Well-developed clinical knowledge
The ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
Professional confidence with a calm approach and the ability to set professional boundaries
Strong communication skills
