Job Location: Watford,United Kingdom
Workplace: Hybrid
Job Function: Information Technology
Requisition ID: 717
Your mission
We're looking for a detail-oriented Product Owner to transform business strategy into clear, deliverable outcomes across our subscription and recurring revenue platforms.
Based in our Watford office, this role will take ownership of platforms that support contractual B2B printing services and our B2C subscription offerings.
Working alongside a team of Product Owners and platform specialists, you'll gather and refine business requirements, produce functional specifications, and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver platform enhancements and new capabilities.
This is a business-facing role within a largely automated environment, ideally suited to someone who enjoys translating complex business requirements into practical, scalable solutions. Due to the complexity of the platforms, you'll receive ongoing mentoring and support from a Senior Platform Specialist, together with dedicated training and knowledge transfer to help you build expertise and confidence in the role.
Please note: This is not a software development role. The focus is on requirements gathering, business analysis, specification writing, stakeholder management, and product delivery rather than coding.
What you will do:
Requirements Gathering & Product Definition
Gather and analyse business and user requirements
Translate requirements into user stories, workflows, and functional specifications
Ensure requirements are clearly defined, understood, and aligned with business objectives
Backlog Management & Refinement
Maintain a prioritised, delivery-ready backlog
Define acceptance criteria, identify dependencies and business value
Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies to support successful delivery
Roadmap Support & Execution Alignment
Support product roadmap planning and prioritisation
Prepare and refine requirements for upcoming development cycles
Work closely with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals
Delivery Collaboration & Sprint Support
Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide requirements clarification
Support development and testing teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Ensure requirements remain aligned from concept through to release
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and end users
Gather feedback, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations
Communicate priorities, progress, and changes clearly and effectively
Quality, Validation & Continuous Improvement
Support testing and user acceptance activities
Leverage user feedback and data insights to drive continuous improvement
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of platform capabilities and business processes
What we ask for:
Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar business-facing role supporting digital platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Experience working in Agile environments, including Jira, user stories, and backlog management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Power BI
Experience working within an international business environment
Understanding of subscription-based, recurring revenue, or contractual business models is highly desirable
Fluent English, written and spoken
MS Dynamics or payment platform experience is advantageous
