As a CAD Designer, you’ll create precise technical drawings, ensuring seamless integration of fixtures, fittings and lantern manufacturing. You must have a keen eye for detail and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is an exciting role that brings designs to life.
Job Summary
The CAD engineer is responsible for creating, modifying and optimizing technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software, Inventor.
The role supports engineering, manufacturing and translating design concepts into accurate, production-ready documents.
Key Responsibilities
· Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD Software (Inventor, AutoCAD)
· Interpret engineering specifications, sketches and design requirements.
· Develop detailed layout, assemblies and component drawings.
· Ensure designs comply and industry standards, code, and regulations.
· Revise drawings based on design reviews, calculations and client feedback.
· Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Manufacturing departments.
· Maintain drawing database and documentation in Odoo.
· Assist in prototype development and design optimization.
· Creation of building BOM’s in Odoo.
Required Qualifications
· Degree or diploma in Engineering, Drafting or relating field.
· Proven experience as a CAD Engineer or Technician.
· Strong proficiency in CAD Software, Inventor is mandatory.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good communication and teamwork skills,
Work Environment
· Office based with occasional site visits.
· May involve tight deadlines and multiple concurrent projects.
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
