Beaufort Care Group is a leading provider of high quality residential child care in Dorset and Hampshire. Due to the success and expansion of our therapy services, we are delighted to be recruiting for a new opportunity as a Part-time Child and Adolescent Therapist.
Reporting to the Head of Therapy, this part-time role will offer flexible, supportive therapy solutions to children in care, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting therapeutic, holistic, ‘best practice’ therapy for traumatised children to help them heal and thrive.
About the role
As a Child and Adolescent Therapist, you will provide therapeutic support to children and young people aged 6–18 who are experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties that stem from trauma, abuse, and neglect.
At Beaufort Care Group, we are passionate about providing loving, trauma-informed care that recognises each child’s unique experiences and supports them on their journey towards recovery, acceptance, and a positive future.
Working as part of our integrated therapeutic model, you will deliver bespoke therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs, undertake assessments, and apply lifestyle medicine principles to promote overall wellbeing. You will also produce reports and recommendations that contribute to a coordinated, holistic approach to care.
Our therapeutic approach extends far beyond the therapy room. You will work closely with childcare teams through coaching, mentoring, workshops, and reflective practice, helping to embed therapeutic thinking into everyday care. By encouraging a shared understanding of each child’s needs across homes and professional networks, you will play a key role in creating consistent, attuned, and relationship-based support that delivers lasting, positive outcomes.
About you
