Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Hairdresser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and barbering, with excellent customer service and communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to lead and mentor junior staff while delivering exceptional grooming services to our diverse clientele. The Senior <PERSON> will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our salon.

Responsibilities

Provide expert hair styling and barbering services tailored to individual client needs
Lead and mentor junior staff, offering guidance and training to ensure quality standards are maintained
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and advise on suitable styles and treatments
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hairdressing and barbering
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow and minimise wait times
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and sterilised after each use

Qualifications

Proven experience in hair styling and barbering, with a recognised qualification in hairdressing or barbering
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience mentoring or supervising junior staff preferred
Knowledge of current trends, techniques, colour treatments, and styling products
Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
Professional attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service at all times

Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day
