Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and clients alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous, as is janitorial experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and private spaces according to established standards
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored safely
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred
Experience in janitorial or general cleaning roles is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills and reliability
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
